「ピンクリボンキャンペーン」



ピンクリボンは、乳がんの早期発見、早期診断、早期治療の重要性を訴えるために、
全世界共通で使われているシンボルマークです。
03年10月11日、12日は、ピンクリボンスマイルウォークと称し六本木ヒルズアリーナを発着に、
丸の内、大手町、有楽町、半蔵門、赤坂見附を通る約15キロコースを、自由に歩くチャリティイベントがあります。

本日（11日）、友人と、このイベントに参加しました。
さすがに、普段歩きなれない15キロは、つらかったけれど（皇居のあたりが、最高に疲れた！）
すこしでも、なにか参加できればという達成感で大満足♪

History of the Pink Ribbon
The pink ribbon is the symbol for breast cancer awareness invented in 1991 by Evelyn H. Lauder,
found & president of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Alexandra Penney,
then-editor of Self Magazine. Lauder says, "The ribbon stands for awareness.
And it stands for the sisterhood that will help women survive - and conquer- this disease.
